Recovery Path Program

General Public FAQs

If I need treatment or know someone who needs treatment for a gambling problem, where do I start?

Call the FCCG’s 24-Hour confidential, multilingual HelpLine at 888-ADMIT-IT (236-4848). This line is staffed by FCCG representatives who can answer questions about treatment and begin the referral process immediately. More information is also available at www.gamblinghelp.org/recoverypath.

How can I find the best Recovery Path treatment provider for my needs?

The FCCG, through its HelpLine, can help direct callers to the nearest and most appropriate provider within the FCCG network of trained and certified providers.

All treatment providers referred through the FCCG HelpLine must be state or nationally certified to provide services to problem gamblers and those affected by problem gambling.

What if I cannot pay for treatment at this time?

All FCCG referred counselors agree to provide services on a sliding scale based on a client’s financial circumstances. The Recovery Path Program provides Floridians with gambling problems the opportunity to receive treatment regardless of their ability to pay.

How can I participate in the Recovery Path Program?

Call 1-888-ADMIT-IT 24 hours a day/7 days a week and speak with someone about your Path to Recovery.
