The Hidden Addiction

Gambling can become addictive, just like alcohol and drugs. However, compulsive gambling is often termed the “hidden addiction” because there are no visible or physical symptoms. People with gambling problems often appear "normal" to others, cannot be drug or urine tested, and are generally more functional at work and school.
